Deeply moved by the experience, she knew then that she wanted to be a doctor. "When I care for a patient," Dr. Michael says, "I consider all aspects of my patient's health, including his or her psychological needs. It's especially important to me that my patients feel at ease as I examine, diagnose, and treat them."
When she is not working with her patients, Dr. Michael enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. She is an avid reader and cook.
