Jessica Glastein, LPC is a member of Summit Medical Group’s Behavioral Health and Cognitive Therapy team. Ms. Glastein has been in the mental health field for several years working with children, adolescents, college-age and young adults. She uses the therapy modality of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has treated on an individual and family basis for a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and life adjustment and transitions. Additionally, Ms. Glastein has provided treatment for other mental health issues which include behavioral concerns and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has been trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and uses this therapy modality for individuals who have been exposed to or experienced trauma.
Ms. Glastein actively includes parents in the treatment of their children and will provide parental guidance techniques. She focuses treatment on helping the individual and/or family work on making positive behavioral and lifestyle changes. “Effort and positive changes play a key role in your treatment and wellbeing,” she says.
Prior to joining Summit Medical Group, Ms. Glastein worked for a Union County behavioral health company providing outpatient treatment to children and adolescents through their college years.
