Kayla L. Holstad, AuD, CCC-A, specializes in infant, child, adolescent, and adult hearing evaluations. Dr. Holstad also evaluates adults and children for hearing aids and hearing aid fittings.
Before joining Summit Medical Group, Dr. Holstad completed her doctoral training in audiology at Hackensack University Medical Center, Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, and Hackensack Audiology and Hearing Aid Associates in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Dr. Holstad says, "My grandparents have been hearing impaired since birth. My experience with my grandparents inspired me to help others understand about hearing impairment. In addition, my mother is a pediatric audiologist from whom I learned about the many ways audiologists can help people living with hearing impairments." She adds, "I work to develop trusting professional relationships with each of my patients."
Dr. Holstad is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
When she is not working with her patients, she enjoys cooking and baking, spending time outdoors, and Crossfit workouts.
